Brush hogging is often the most economical first step when a property is overgrown but does not require heavy land-clearing equipment.

Forestry Mulching

Forestry mulching is an amazing service that puts a specialized "head" on a skid steer that shreds smaller trees, vines, brambles and brush, leaving a coarse mulch behind where there had been inaccessible growth. When the land needs more than brush hogging, forestry mulching is a precision tool with a narrow 6 foot imprint that allows us to tailor a personalized solution - clear out wide swathes or selective removal, leaving the beautiful trees you want, removing the cedars, vines and brambles you don't.

Firebreaks & Fuel Reduction

Reduce the undergrowth and overgrowth that fuels wildfires. With firebreaks and fuel reduction your land is better prepared for a wildfire. Rather than clearing to a mineral dirt level, we bushhog as low as possible to reduce the fuel load and remove the scaffolding of dry vegetation, reducing fuel, discouraging fire spread and creating defensible space.

The Right Tool for the Job

Not every overgrown property needs expensive forestry mulching or heavy land clearing, and usually not all of the land requires forestry mulching. We offer a custom plan to brush hog where appropriate and forestry mulch where needed -- saving you time and money.In addition to a 12' batwing brush hog, we also offer a land plane and box blade on our tractor. We offer a variety of skid-steer attachments including forestry mulching heads (lo-flo and hi-flo), backhoe and jackhammer/rockcrusher. For many problems, we offer practical solutions.
